The political and economic relationsbetween China and Australia shows good momentum in recent years, as the twocountries are important trade and investment partners for each other. China is Australia's largest import market,the tourist source country with most value and the largest source ofinternational students and immigrants. China and Australia have great complementarities and an even closerpartnership in economy. Thesecomplementary advantages become more reciprocal as we both look forward towin-win engagements.
It is worth mentioning that lastNovember, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a successful visit to Australia,during which leaders from both sides jointly upgraded our bilateralrelationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and announced thesubstantial conclusion of the bilateral FTA negotiation, which led thebilateral friendly cooperation relations into best period in the history. And the formal signing of theAustralian-China Free trade Agreement 2 weeks ago in Canberra, push thebilateral economic and trade cooperation onto a brand new stage. The strategic conception of “One Belt, OneRoad” initiated by President Xi Jinping, opened up even broader prospects forSino-Australian cooperation. As SouthPacific is one major direction of the ocean-going "21th-Centrury MaritimeSilk Road" (MSR), Australia is the essential country on this Road. Through building infrastructure, increasingcultural exchanges, and broadening trade, the development of MRS will befurther deepened and ungraded on the bases of existing bilateral cooperationbetween Australia and China.
Ladies and gentlemen, with a long history and a unique taste, WuLiang Ye is one of China’s most famous liquor brands both at home and abroad. In recent years, Wu Liang Ye has made goodprogress in the Australian market, which is not only a major step for the Groupto implement its international strategy, but also an important consequence ofrecent development of bilateral friendly cooperative relations betweenAustralia and China. Along with thebooming economic and trade cooperation, increasingly frequent personnel andcultural exchanges and the signature of China-Australia FTA Agreement, Wu LiangYe has gained growing awareness, positive prospects and great potential inAustralian market.
